It came as no surprise that Nick Skelton and Big Star went away with the most awards at the 2016 British Showjumping Awards Ball.
2016 Olympic Champion Skelton was awarded with the ‘British Showjumping Award’, while Big Star owned by Gary & Beverley Widdowson were crowned ‘Horse & Owner of the Year’. Skelton’s groom Mark Beever won the ‘Top Level Team Grooms Award’.
The annual British Showjumping Awards Ball took place at the St Johns Hotel, Solihull on Tuesday 4th of October with 400 guests celebrating with the extremely worthy nominees and winners.
