After a forced break counting about two months, Steve Guerdat’s Nino des Buissonnets is back in the ring. It was in late July that the gelding was provosionally suspended for two months by the FEI after he as one of three horses tested positive for prohibited substances following the CSIO5* event in La Baule. Guerdat has claimed that the positive tests on codeine, oripavine and the controlled medication substance morphine are the result of food contamination.
As the provisional suspension now has come to an end, Nino is making his comeback at the CSI4* show in Samorin – today jumping with three time faults in the bronze tour.
