Studforlife.com reports that the now 16-year-old stallion Nippon d’Elle (Scherif d'Elle x Narcos II) will be retired from the sport to focus on a full-time breeding career at Haras d'Elle in Normandy, France.
With Roger Yves Bost in the saddle, Nippon d’Elle excelled to the top of the sport and among their many triumphs is a first place in the CSIO5* Nations Cup of Aachen back in 2012. In addition, the pair has Grand Prix wins from Oliva, Arezzo and Fontainebleu on their record and they can also look back at several Grand Prix podium placings around the world together.
Now, the stallion returns to his former rider Bertrand Pignolet at Haras d’Elle. To Studforlife.com, Pignolet says: “It is time for him to devote himself to his stallion career, especially as his offspring are really interesting. We are really satisfied with our offspring, and others also seem to be very satisfied with them.”
