Press release from Philippaerts - We Live Horses

Nicola Philippaerts has announced that he will be prevented from participating at the European Championships in Rotterdam next month with his top horse H&M Chilli Willi. The 11-year-old stallion has sustained a minor injury, which keeps him away from the championships.

“After the Longines Global Champions Tour in Chantilly, it was discovered that Chilli Willi had sustained a minor injury,” Philippaerts comments in a press release. “Of course it is a disappointment, but Chilli Willi and I are a team and his welfare comes before my ambitions. Chilli Willi will now get the necessary time to recover and will be back competing as soon as he’s ready.”
