Oak Grove’s Carlyle (Casall x Corrado I) will in the future be seen with USA’s young talent Alexander Alston, Ireland's Daniel Coyle announced in social media on Wednesday. Coyle took over the reins on Oak Grove’s Carlyle in the summer of 2021, and had lots of success with the now 15-year-old gelding that also had several top results on five-star level with both Jeroen Dubbeldam as well as Rolf-Göran Bengtsson before joining the Irish rider. With Coyle in the saddle, Oak Grove’s Carlyle won the CSIO5* Longines Grand Prix of Rotterdam last summer, as well as recording international victories in Lexington, Valkenswaard, Vancouver and Wellington.

On his official Instagram account, Coyle wrote: "Over the last 2 years, this horse has been such a worker! Oak Grove’s Carlyle has earned wins all over the world and found a special place in the @lothlorienfarm string. Thank you to @jeroendubbeldamand @arielgrangeofficial for giving me the opportunity to ride him. Wishing all the best to new owner, U25 rider @alex__alston, and thank you to @northrun for helping Carlyle find his next person."
