Germany's Chef d'Equipe Otto Becker has made his final decision regarding which horses will represent Germany at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro next month.
Christian Ahlmann will ride his 16-year-old stallion Taloubet Z (Galoubet A x Polydor) instead of Epleaser van 't Heike (For Pleasure x Nabab de Rêve) and Ludger Beerbaum will compete with Douglas Lindelöw's former Casello (Casall x Carolus I) instead of his experienced mare Chiara (Contender x Coronado). Marcus Ehning's mount for Rio will be Cornado NRW (Cornet Obolensky x Acobat I) instead of Pret A Tout (Hiram Chambertin x Stew Boy), while Daniel Deusser joins the team with First Class van Eeckelghem (Balou du Rouet x Feinschnitt I van de Richter).
