Hopes are up for a come back for Nick Skelton's amazing Big Star (Quick Star x Nimmerdor) at the end of the summer. Yesterday, Skelton's partner Laura Kraut posted a video of the 12 year old stallion doing flatwork with Nick in the saddle - and in a comment the American rider writes that they are hoping for a come back to the ring for Big Star in late August.

Big Star's last international show was in Estoril in July 2014, where he ended third in the Grand Prix. Following the event, Big Star unfortunately sustained an injury - and it was expected it would take him a year to return to the ring.
