Israel’s Dani G Waldman has acquired the 11-year-old gelding Queensland E (ex. Quinto de la Hamente Z, Quickfire De Ferann x Socrate De Chivre) from Jos Lansink.
Queensland E has been successfully campaigned all the way up to five-star level by Dutch rider Frank Schuttert, and at the end of last year the pair won the CSI4* Grand Prix of Maastricht. The pair also picked up a five-star 1.50m victory in Madrid in May 2019, and has top five placings from the CSI5* Grand Prix of Berlin and the CSI3* Grand Prix of Le Touquet to look back at.
“I bought Queensland at the beginning of last year, and he went on to have a really good season. From jumping two-star Grand Prix classes, he quickly transitioned to the higher level," Lansink comments to World of Showjumping. "He won some big classes during 2019 as well as having a lot of other good results. It was not the plan to sell him, he was one of Frank’s two options for the Olympics this year. However, running a business means you sometimes have to sell to make it go around. We wish Dani the best of luck with Queensland!”
