Scott Brash's 11-year-old gelding Valentino (Diamantino x Careful 28, bred by Tina Petersson-Lind) has been sold to the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation. Brash took over the reins on Valentino at the end of 2022, after the gelding had been produced to two-star Grand Prix level by Wilma Hellström and Ciaran Dreeling.

With Brash in the saddle, Valentino has had success all the way up to five-star Grand Prix level. In August this year, the duo won the CSI5* 1.55m GCL competition in London, while in July, they placed second in the CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix in Chantilly. They also won a CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix in Oliva Nova in April. In 2024, they won the CSI5* 1.55m GCL competition in Cannes as well as the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in Vejer de la Frontera, to mention just a few of their best results together.
