Simone Blum’s Grand Prix horse DSP Cool Hill (Corlensky G x Al Cantino) has been sold to Enda Carroll’s Ashford Farm and will in the future be seen with Enda’s wife Stefanie Carroll in the saddle.

To World of Showjumping, Enda Carroll comments: “We are super excited to welcome Cool Hill to our stable. We would really like to thank Simone for trusting us with her special horse, that she has had for so long and that now will be ridden by Stefanie. We also bought an exciting 8-year-old from Simone – Cecile 30 (Conthargos x Carthago Z), and we are looking forward to the future with both of them.”

Blum announced the sale in her social media channels earlier today, writing about DSP Cool Hill: “You were by our side for 5 years ... for 5 years you were a family member, for 5 years you made eyes shine every day. Because you were the cutest and lovliest horse one could wish for. Yesterday was a tough day for me! Handing you over to your new owners was difficult and tearful (…) I wish you all the luck in the world on your new journey and I look forward to seeing you fly over the fences with your new rider.”

Blum and DSP Cool Hill has competed successfully all the way up to five-star Grand Prix level, and the 11-year-old gelding has had several good results with the German World Champion. Earlier this year, the two won the CSI2* Grand Prix in München-Riem and in 2019 the CSI2* Grand Prix at Ising am Chiemsee.
