The Italian Equestrian Federation has appointed Stefano Cesaretto as the new Italian chef d’equipe for their senior jumpers. After the former chef d’equipe Marco Porro’s contract expired, the Italian riders voiced their wish to have Cesaretto as their team manager.
“I am very happy to take on this role,” Cesaretto commented to World of Showjumping. “I did not apply, but simply answered the riders’ requests – which I found moving. I am looking forward to an exciting new year.”
