Steve Guerdat was honoured in his childhood town this week, as a magnificent art piece by artist André Voirol was unveiled. The artwork 'Olympic Champion' was presented to Steve in front of a big regional crowd (over 500 people) on the 23rd of June which is the independence day of the region Jura, with cantonal and municipal authorities and the President of the Swiss Equestrian Federation present. The art piece has been made to honor Steve’s Olympic gold medal at the 2012 Games in London, and has been located outside the restaurant Cheval-blanc.
