Having sold a few horses in her string, USA's Lillie Keenan has added two new youngsters to her team ahead of the 2020 season. Keenan has acquired the 7-year-old gelding Stakki 6 (Stakkato Gold x Accord II) and the 8-year-old gelding El Balou Old (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Balou du Rouet). Stakki 6 has been competed successfully at international youngster level by Germany’s Andreas Kreuzer and Jana Wargers, as has El Balou that also has been campaigned by Annika Kreuzer.
On his Facebook page, Andreas Kreuzer writes: "Two of our favourite youngsters just arrived at their new home in Wellington. From now on Stakki and El Balou will continue on their path with Lillie Keenan. El Balou was with us since 2016 when we secured this young talent at the auction in Vechta. He started doing his first shows with us and developed to be an outstanding 7-year old. Big thanks to my investors for giving me the chance to work with a horse like this and big thanks to my sister who turned this young and talented but very sensitive and inexperienced horse into a very special 7-year old with a lot of patience and passion. Now we are looking forward to follow them with their new rider!"
