The 12-year-old mare Primavera (Mylord Carthago x Cornet Obolensky, bred by Gestüt Elstertal) has been sold to Great Britain.
With Denmark’s Zascha Nygaard in the saddle, Primavera – who has also competed internationally with Agostina Llano (PAR), Andreas Kreuzer (GER), as well as Judith Thoenes (GER) – won the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in Opglabbeek, Belgium, in 2024. In June this year, the two topped the second Global Champions League competition, a CSI5* 1.60m class, in Paris, France. In May, they also jumped double clear for the winning Danish team in the CSIO3* Longines EEF Series Nations Cup in Martofte, Denmark, and placed second in the CSIO3* 1.55m Grand Prix at the same venue.
“Prima has been a very loyal partner for me the last four years,” Nygaard told World of Showjumping. “She has had a big impact on my career and I am beyond thankful for everything she has done for me. I wish the new owners all the best with this fantastic mare.”
