Saturday's first five-star class at Jumping Amsterdam was won by Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano. The 1.45m Marc Boers Flower Export Prize, an accumulator with a joker, had 55 horse and rider combinations in it with Gaudiano producing the fastest time of the competition when stopping the clock at 44.55 seconds aboard his 10-year-old mare Carlotta (Chaccomo x Cento).
Almost two seconds behind followed Sweden's Malin Baryard-Johnsson on H&M Second Chance (Carland x White Clover), while third place went to Germany's Daniel Deusser on Kiana van het Herdershof (Toulon x Lys De Darmen). Best of the home riders was Lisa Nooren on VDL Groep Centora de Wallyro (Dobel's Cento x Aledo) who followed in fifth behind Germany's Christian Kukuk in fourth.
