The Japanese showjumping team for the Olympic Games in Rio has been announced. The team will consist of Reiko Takeda, Daisuke Fukushima, Toshiki Masui, Taizo Sugitani and reserve rider Koki Saito.

Most known of the five riders is probably Taizo Sugitani, who has no less than five Olympic Games and six World Championships under his belt.
