Fifty riders had lined up for Sunday's CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix in Rouen, France and twelve of them managed to clear the track to move on to the jump-off. There it was Finland's Anna-Julia Kontio and the 13-year-old mare Ornellaia (For Pleasure x Calato) that were the fastest, stopping the clock at 38.81 seconds.

Home heroine Alexandra Ledermann followed in second place with Requiem de Talma (Cento x Qredo de Paulstra) after crossing the finish line in 38.98 seconds, while third place went to Switzerland's Bryan Balsiger on Clouzot de Lassus (Ugano Sitte x Tenor Manciais) with a time of 39.65 against the clock – which was also the time of France's own Margaux Bost on As de Papignies (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Ahorn Z) making it a tie. With one down in the jump-off, but the fastest time of the class Belgium's Koen Vereecke and Jativia (Cardento x Gottwald) had to settle for fifth place.
