The Doha International Equestrian Tour 2025 has continued into its third week of competition at Al Shaqab, Doha, Qatar, and it was the hosts' own Bassem Mohammed that took Thursday's biggest win as the action got underway.
Riding the 15-year-old F One USA (Toulon x Otangelo), Mohammed topped the CSI5* 1.50m class counting for the Longines Rankings Group D, besting a field of 28 participants and taking the win with a time of 62.78 ahead of Great Britain's 2024 Olympic team gold medalist Scott Brash and Hello Valentino (Diamantino x Careful 28) in second in 63.24.
Duarte Seabra (POR) and Cooper LB (Colman x Toulon) completed the podium in 70.95, while Jennifer Hochstaedter (LIE) on Golden Lady (Cassini Gold x San Patrignano Mister) finished fourth in 72.71 and Marit Haarr Skollerud Cox (NOR) aboard Nelson Van 'T Roosakker (Zandor x Kashmir Van Schuttershof) fifth in 74.57.
