Billy Twomey (IRL) and the 16-year-old Chat Botte E.D. (Casall x Darco) won Sunday’s CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in Valencia, Spain.
With a time of 35.32 seconds in a jump-off between seven horse-and-rider combinations, the Irish rider took the win ahead of Alexa Ferrer (FRA) and Vitalhorse Fleur d’Oz (Olimbos Merze x Papillon Rouge) in second – with 1.16 seconds separating the two.
Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) and Enrico de La Pomme (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Ingmar) placed third after clocking a time of 36.63, followed by Cian O’Connor (IRL) and Bentley de Sury (Sunday de Riverland x Calvaro) in fourth with a fence down in 41.08 and the host nation's own Carolina Aresu Garcia Obregon (ESP) on Domperignon (Quintus x Cumano) in fifth – also she on four faults.
