Against 96 other horse-and-rider combinations, Mexico's Carlos Hank Guerreiro and H5 Chacco-San (Chacco-Blue x Sandro Boy) topped Thursday's CSI4* 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier at Sentower Park, in Belgium.
Many of the world's very best riders were on the starting list in the 1.50m Prijs SVD Equestrian, including world no. one Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) who finished second aboard Calizi (Cellestial x Stakkatol) with a time of 61.84 seconds against the winning speed of 61.38.
Harry Charles (GBR), number one on the FEI U25 Ranking, took third aboard Sherlock (Bisquet Balou C x Malito de Reve) after stopping the clock on 62.56 seconds. Graham Gillespie (GBR) and Veneno (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) followed in fourth in 62.62, while Amanda Slagter (NED) and Cornet Blue PS (Chacco-Blue x Cornet's Stern) completed the top five with a time of 64.52.
