The 2015 European Youngster Cup moved on to it’s 19th stage in Donaueschingen this weekend, and the one who secured a ticket for the final in Salzburg was home rider Daniela Theelen. This was the first time the 18-year-old gave the series a go, and taking the chance paid off aboard Figaro (Wandor van de Mispelaere x A Lucky One). “It’s great to ride in such a famous place,” said the winner about competing at the event. “I think it’s super to get the chance to catch up with the top sport here."

Runner-up was another German rider; Jennifer Taxis on Lyra CR (Lancer II x Carry), while Marie-Louise Gnadt secured a home trio on top finishing third on Escoreal (Earl x Prestige Pilot).

Four legs remain of the series, before the final in December.
