Jeroen Dubbeldam (NED) won Friday's 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier presented by Starland at the CSI4* X-BIONIC® Indoor Master, riding his new horse Oak Grove’s Carlyle (Casall x Corrado I).
As many as thirteen horse-and-rider combinations went double clear over the course and fastest of them all was Dubbeldam with 37.80 seconds. It was close down to runner-up Ann Carton-Grootjans (BEL) with Kai Licha de Carmel (Prince van de Wolfsakker x Quidam de Revel), who stopped the clock in 37.98 seconds.
Marco Kutscher (GER) ended third with Böckmanns Lord Pezi Junior (Lord Pezi x Quattro B), ahead of Paul Estermann (SUI) with Lord Pepsi (Böckmann’s Lord Pezi x Santander H) and José Maria Larocca (ARG) with Finn Lente (Gaillard de la Pomme x Colandro).
Earlier in the day, Chloe Reid won the 1.45m class presented by Coca-Cola. Together with Souper Shuttle (Stakkato x La Zarras 2), Reid crossed the finish line in 31.19 seconds in the second phase – 0.76 seconds ahead of runner-up Maksymilian Wechta (POL) with Quinchella (Quintero x Chello I). Third place went to Katharina Rhomberg (AUT) with Dinadja (Unaniem x Roven xx), fourth place to Natalia Czernik (POL) with Everdi (Verdi x Cassini I) and fifth place to Gerfried Puck (AUT) with For Fun VT (Zirocco Blue VDL x Indorado).
