With the sixth week of the 2024-edition of the Andalucía Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, underway, Japan's Eiken Sato and the 10-year-old Melypso Blue PS FRH (Messenger x Centadel) took the biggest win of the day when taking the top honours in Thursday's CSI4* Big Tour 1.50m Celeste Trophy – a Grand Prix qualifier. 

Clocking the winning time of 61.32, Sato took the win ahead of Matthew Sampson (GBR) and Equine America Ivanhoe GPH (Marome NW x Indorado) in second in 61.87 – besting a field of 70 horse-and-rider-combinations.

Duarte Seabra (POR) and HHS Washington (Tinaranas Inspector x Cavalier Royale) placed third in 62.26, while Pedro Junqueira Muylaert (BRA) and Edora d'Helby (Kouros d'Helby x Papillon Rouge) finished fourth in 63.57 and Felipe Amaral (BRA) aboard Robinson 163 (Casall x Cassiano) fifth in 64.75.
