Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Carlotta 232 (Chaccomo x Cento) took the top honours in Thursday’s CSI4* 1.45m counting for the Longines Ranking at Hubside Jumping in Grimaud, France.
”I’m delighted with Carlotta. We left the last Hubside Jumping two weeks ago with a win, and we’re starting this new week of competition with another win. I plan to stay in Grimaud the next three weeks, and my three leading horses are here. Chalou will do the one class tomorrow and then the Grand Prix on Sunday. I think he will do two classes per week. As for Carlotta, what can I say… She is exceptional. I think this victory is her 80th international victory in six years. She is not a suitable mare for big Grand Prix’, but she is very fast and suitable for speed classes.”
Guy Williams (GBR) and Rouge de Ravel (Ultimo Van Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge) took care of the runner-up position, 2.59 seconds behind the winning time. Titouan Schumacher (FRA) with Atome Z (Amadeus Z*Brimbelles x Toulon) finished third, followed by Luciana Diniz (POR) with Vertigo du Desert (Mylord Carthago*HN x Robin II Z) in fourth and Edward Levy (FRA) with Starlette de La Roque (Jumpy des Fontaines x Kannan) in fifth.
