It was a day of intense competition at the CSI4* Sunshine Tour, that celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
On Friday, the Czech anthem rang across the show grounds as the winner of the 1.50m Cruzcampo Trophy was Emma Augier de Moussac and her wonderful 11-year-old mare Diva (No Limit x Ticallux Verte).
Fifteen horse-and-rider combinations went through to the jump-off, where Emma stopped the clocks in 35.18 seconds. Emma and Diva participated at the World Equestrian Games 2018 in Tryon and the pair has successfully competed at the Sunshine Tour for the last four years.
The young British rider Harry Charles, son of Peter Charles, has just returned from competing at the LGCT in Doha. On Friday, Harry and Lordanos Junior (Lordanos x Come on) took a well-deserved second place, in 35.48 seconds. In third came French rider Emeric George riding Chopin des Hayettes (Radco D'Houtveld Sbs x Nimmerdor) to a time of 35.75 seconds.
