CSI3* Braunschweig 2018

Belgium's Gilles Dunon and the 13-year-old stallion Fou de Toi vd Keihoeve (Toulon x Melkior du Montois) won Sunday's CSI3* Grand Prix of Braunschweig presented by Volkswagen.

The 1.55m Grand Prix had 44 horse-and-rider combinations in it, most of them German, but it was Belgium that took home the win after Dunon stopped the clock at 35.36 seconds in the second round against the clock. In 36.13 seconds followed Netherland's Robert Vos on his veteran Carat (Cardento x Krevad) while third place went to Rolf Moormann, who was best on behalf of the hosts, riding the 11-year-old gelding Samba de Janeiro (Stolzenberg x Glenfiddich) to a time of 36.54.

South Africa's Alexa Stais finished fourth, and Belgium's Ann Carton-Grootjans fifth.
