Two Belgian riders claimed the wins in Thursday’s CSIO5* 1.45 and 1.50 classes in Lummen. First Jeroeme Guery went to the top in the 1.45 speed class presented by Neptunus, on his relatively new ride Papillon Z (Perhaps x Cassini I) to a time that was more than a second faster than that of runner-up Greg Broderick from Ireland aboard Billy Cevelle (Cevin Z x Unknown). In third place followed Italy’s Luca Maria Moneta on Akoenamatata Z (Andiamo Z x Bon Ami).

The 1.50 speed class presented by Stephex saw Gilles Dunon on top riding Fou de Toi vd Keihoeve (Toulon x Melkior du Montois) to a clear round in 65.33 seconds. Behind him followed Dutch rider Harrie Smolders on Aiyetoro (Concorde x Colino), who was a little behind on the time stopping the clock at 66.10 seconds. In third place came Sweden’s Angelie von Essen on Jordan II (Air Jordan x Voltaire Pref).
