Belgium’s Gregory Wathelet and the 10-year-old mare Argentina de La Marchette (Acajou de La Marchette x Del Piero PB) won Saturday’s CSI4* 1.45m Vision 2024 Prize at Sentower Park, Belgium.

Judged as a Two Phases Special, the class counting for the Longines Ranking had 69 horse-and-rider-combinations at start. With a time of 31.96 in the second phase, Wathelet took the win ahead of Wilm Vermeir (BEL) on Linguini de La Pomme (Marius Claudius x Tinka’s Boy), who had to settle for the runner-up position when the clock stopped on 32.27 for the Belgian rider. Omer Karaevli (TUR) on Livingstone van het Peggershof (Ogano Sitte x Thunder vd Zuuthoeve) placed third, while the fourth spot went to Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) on Khan vd Kattevennen Z (Kannan x Heartbreaker) and fifth to Marcus Ehning (GER) on Calanda 42 (Calido I x Chasseur I).
