Gregory Wathelet (BEL) and the 11-year-old mare Berline du Maillet Z (Berlin x Action-Breaker) took a home win in Wednesday's CSI4* 1.50m Ashford Farm Prize at Sentower Park in Opglabbeek, Belgium.
A total of 63 horse-and-rider combinations had lined up for this Grand Prix qualifier against the clock counting for the Longines Ranking, and 23 of them delivered clear rounds. Fastest was Wathelet who stopped the clock at 61.76 seconds, followed by Julien Epaillard (FRA) on Gracieux du Pachis (Tinka's Boy x Caretino) in 62.71 seconds. Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) took the third place with Zayado (Cayado x Casall), after clocking a time of 63.29 seconds. Two Dutch riders finished fourth and fifth: Kevin Jochems on Cornetboy (Cornet's Stern x Colander) and Niels Kersten on Tippy Z (Tyson x Jetset-D).
