Belgium's Gudrun Patteet was the winner of Saturday's 1.50 Longines Trophy at CSI4* La Coruna after a very fast winning round. Riding the 10-year-old Sea Coast Pebbels (Picasso Z x Flamenco de Semilly), the Belgian rider again demonstrated her spell of good luck just a week after she took the victory in the CSI4* Ascona Grand Prix. Patteet was the first out on the ring in the second round, and finished with a time of 30.82 seconds that kept her in the lead until the end.
"It is the first big class that he does well for a long time. He jumped very well at the beginning of the season, but in St. Gallen was frightened and since then it has been difficult getting confidence together back. I'm really happy," said Patteet after her win.
Germany's Tobias Meyer finished second while French rider Patrice Delaveau was brilliant again with Leontine Ledimar Z HDC (Lodefever II x Grosso Z) stopping the clock in 30.97 seconds.
France's Mathieu Billot won the 1.45 Marqués de Riscal Trophy with Vedette Z (Viento Uno W x Corrado I), while British rider Louise Saywell took the 1.35 Porsche Trophy victory.
