Guillaume Foutrier (FRA) and Valdocco des Caps (Number One d’Iso x Quidam de Revel) won the CSI3* Grand Prix on the Costa del Sol Equestrian Tour in Mijas. The 1.50m class counting for the Longines Ranking was jumped over two rounds where the 13 best riders qualified for the second round. Foutrier and runner-up Harry Marshall (IRL) were the only riders to produce two clear rounds and only 0,29 seconds separated Foutrier and Marshall, the latter riding Chirokko M (Diamant de Semilly x Chin Chin).
Third place went to Paloma Barcelo (ESP) and HHS Flo (Heritage Fortunus x Clover Hill) followed by Doron Kuipers with Zucces (Gerlinus x Kenwood) and Richard Howley (IRL) riding Dolores (Berlin x Voltaire) in fourth and fifth place respectively.
