It was double British on top in Sunday's CSI3* Grand Prix of Reims, with Guy Williams taking the win riding the 13-year-old stallion Rouge de Ravel (Ultimo Van Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge).
Thirteen of the 49 riders in this 1.50m Grand Prix went through to round two against the clock, and the top three riders were all double clear with Williams being the fastest in 42.36 seconds. Runner-up position went to Holly Smith on Hearts Destiny (Heart Throb x Rabino) with a time of 43.76 seconds. Guillaume Roland Billecart (FRA) finished third aboard Ustica des Luthiers (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Bleu Blanc Rouge II) in 45.38 seconds. With four faults in round two and the fastest time of the day, Yann Candele (CAN) ended fourth with Usa Normande (Made In Semilly x Urbain du Monnai) while fifth went to Gregory Wathelet (BEL) on Qualido 3 (Quicksilber x Calido) - also he with four faults against the clock.
