Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) has been on a winning streak in November and December, and his victory in Saturday's CSI4* 1.45m CPA Lichtkonzept Prize in Frankfurt marked the 5th international win for the German rider over the last two months.
Riding the 9-year-old Forpleasure du Moulin (For Pleasure x Chin Chin), Dreher raced through the shortened course in 38.22 seconds. "I rode as fast as I could and it was enough!" the winner said, after beating his compatriot Katrin Eckermann (GER) and Iron Dames Casa Blue PS (Casallco x Chacco-Blue) by 0.38 seconds in the International Festhalle in Frankfurt. Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking (GER) and Coldplay (Chacco-Blue x Pilox) placed third with a time of 38.75 seconds – making it an all-German podium in this class where twelve horse-and-rider combinations moved on to the winning round.
"This afternoon my mare didn't jump that well, she was a bit off her game," said the winner in a press release from Internationales Festhallen Reitturnier Frankfurt . "But this evening she was back on track. She's a real little fighter."
