Harrie Smolders (NED) and the 15-year-old gelding Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) won Sunday's 1.55m CSI4* Prize Minister President of Hessen in Wiesbaden. 

Eleven of the 34 riders in the competition made it to the second round against the clock, where Smolders posted the quickest clear round of the class in 43.88 seconds. Hikari Yoshizawa (JAP) followed in runner-up position, riding Conrato (Caretino x Quinar) to another clear round in 44.99 seconds. Peter Moloney (IRL) finished third aboard Compelling Z (Chellano Z x Carthago Z) after a clear round in 45.75 seconds. The last double clear round came from Jeroen Dubbeldam (NED) and Donjo (Zirocco Blue VDL x Ahorn) in 46.31 seconds, putting them fourth. Charlotte Bettendorf (LUX) had the fastest time of the day, but on the expense of four faults which left her in fifth with Hope Street (Casall x Quick Nick I).
