Sweden's current world number one Henrik von Eckermann and the 11-year-old mare Calizi (Cellestial x Stakkatol) won Saturday's CSI4* 1.45m presented by Hööks at the Sweden International Horse Show in Stockholm.
"I am really happy with Calizi," von Eckermann told World of Showjumping. "She was first, second and third in the three days here. It is always really fun to win at home in front of a fantastic crowd."
Crossing the finish line in 56.83 seconds in this competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group D, von Eckermann and Calizi snatched the win from their teammate and compatriot Peder Fredricson who aboard Hansson WL (Hip Hop x Iowa) had to settle for second with a time of 58.21.
Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Valentino (Diamantino x Careful 28) followed in third in 59.43, while Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) and Caillan (Casall x Carry 22) finished fourth in 59.59 and Lorenzo de Luca (ITA) aboard Cappuccino 194 (Comme Il Faut 5 x Sir Shutterfly) fifth in 59.92.
