Katharina Rhomberg (AUT) and Cuma 5 (Comme Il Faut x Ars Vivendi) took a home win in Friday’s CSI4* 1.55m Amadeus Championat of Salzburg at the Amadeus Horse Indoors 2024 in Salzburg, Austria.
This first Grand Prix qualifier – a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group C – saw the twelve best horse-and-rider combinations out of a total of 48 starters in the first round continue to the second and decisive round. In round two, Rhomberg and Cuma 5 were the fastest – taking the win in 45.31 seconds. A bit over a second behind, in 46.37, followed João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes De Lima (BRA) and Provence van het Bovenlos (Kannan x Berlin) who had to settle for the runner-up spot.
Annina Züger-Hächler (SUI) and PB Dicannus (Diarado x Chacco-Blue) placed third after clocking a time of 46.76 seconds, while Tamás Mráz (HUN) and Viva Cent (Vivant x Centadel) finished fourth in 47.96, followed by Pia Reich (GER) and PB Loewenherz (Levisto x Contender) in fifth in 48.27.
