France’s Kevin Staut and the 9-year-old Vida Loca Z (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Cornet Obolensky) took a home win in Sunday’s CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix CWD de la Ville de Cabourg at the 2025-edition of Cabourg Classic.
Crossing the finish line in 38.05 seconds in a jump-off of nine horse-and-rider combinations, the pair that also topped Thursday’s CSI4* 1.50m Prix des Haras Normands, took the win ahead of Robin van Thillo (BEL) and My Jewel’s Magic Touch (Stakkato x Dominard) in second in 41.11.
With a time of 41.54, Dimme D’Haese (BEL) and La Costa (Gitano v Bergenbroeck x Calvino Z) placed third, followed by Nicolas Layec (FRA) on Fee de Caryan (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Lamm De Fetan) in fourth in 43.93 and Sara Brionne (FRA) aboard Grand Duc du Paradiso (Vagabond de La Pomme x Toulon) in fifth with four penalties in 39.88.
