International competition kicks off at the 2016 Winter Equestrian Festival this week. The festival got underway already last week, but the first international classes take place this week with CSI2* competitions on the schedule.
Some of the world's best horses and riders are in Wellington to compete at this year's WEF, and below are the entries for week two of the festival. The 100 best riders on the list according to the world ranking will be invited for the CSI2* classes, and include names such as Kent Farrington, Beezie Madden, McLain Ward, Eric Lamaze, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Rodrigo Pessoa and Doda de Miranda.
