It was Luca Maria Moneta's (ITA) day at CSI4* Casas Novas. First the Italian rider won the Marques de Riscal Trophy, and then the Longines Trophy.

The 1.50m Longines Trophy was Saturday's biggest class at CSI4* Casas Novas. Riding the 9-year-old mare Amethyste du Coty (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel), Moneta left Celine Schoonbroodt-de Azevedo (BEL) and Chepetta (Chepetto x Cash) behind him in runner-up position with 1.58 seconds separating the two riders.

Aboard Djoost Again (Cantos x Joost), Eric van der Vleuten (NED) finished third while fourth went to Pedro Junqueira Muylaert (BRA) on Foot Loose MFS (Baltic VDL x Cavalier) and fifth to Kevin Gonzalez de Zarate Fernandez (ESP) on Atlantic Z (Air Jordan Z x Voltaire).

The victory in the 1.45m Marques de Riscal Trophy came aboard the veteran Neptune Brecourt (Cavalor Cumano x Kayack). 0.22 seconds separated Moneta from Pedro Veniss (BRA) and Anaya Ste Hermelle (Andiamo x Paladin Des Ifs), while best for the hosts was Paola Amilibia (ESP) that came in third with Chac-Balou (Chacco-Blue x Balou du Rouet).
