Joe Stockdale (GBR) and the 12-year-old Ebanking (Etoulon x VDL Sheraton) won Sunday’s CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix, the President’s Cup UAE Showjumping presented by Longines, in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

As the only double clear in the competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group AA, the Bristish duo took the top honours ahead of David Will (GER) and Xixo Borgia (Big Star x Sandro Boy), who had to settle for second with a fence down in 37.45 in a jump-off of five horse-and-rider combinations.

Maximilian Lill (GER) and Viverter PS (Vivant x Conthargos) took the third spot on the podium when crossing the finish line in 37.55 carrying four penalties, while Ramzy Al Duhami (KSA) on Cayadino (Cayado x Quick Fire) and Luiz Felipe Cortizo Gonçalves De Azevedo Filho (BRA) aboard Sierra du Piedroux Z (Hunter’s Scendix x Contefino) followed in fourth and fifth respectively.
