Johannes Ehning went to the top in Saturday’s biggest class at the CSI3* event in Mannheim, the 1.50 Berrang Preis. Riding Cayenne (Cornet Obolensky x Gonfaron), Ehning was by far the fastest one in the class when he early on set the time to beat at 61.28 seconds when keeping up the speed all the way around the twelve fence track that included three combinations.
It was a good class for the hosts, as Eva Bitter secured the runner-up position on Perigueux (Perpignon x Stakkato) two seconds behind on the time. Ireland’s Dermott Lennon squeezed into third on Loughview Lou-Lou (Limmerick x Jack Of Diamonds) before three more German riders followed; Kaya Lüthi, Felix Hassmann and Jörg Oppermann.
