Canada's Kara Chad and the 11-year-old gelding Igor GPH (Harley x Crawford) won Saturday's CSI4* 1.45m Small Grand Prix of the Big Tour at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour 2024 in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain.
With a time of 38.10 seconds, Chad took the win after a jump-off between twelve horse-and-rider-combinations – besting a field of 74 pairs in this Big Tour competition counting for the Longines Ranking Group D.
Kars Bonhof (NED) and Ivoor TN (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Verdi TN) took the runner-up spot with a time of 40.27 seconds, followed by Anthony Bourquard (SUI) and Everest d'Ellipse (Vagabond de La Pomme x Kannan) who placed third after clocking a time of 41.74. Mans Thijssen (NED) and Joviality (Warrant x Silverstone) finished fourth in 42.24 seconds, while Penelope Leprevost (FRA) and Fedor VH Moeshof (Quick Star x C Indoctro) completed the top five with their time of 42.25 seconds.
