At the traditional Longines PfingstTurnier Wiesbaden in Germany, it was Egypt's Karim Elzoghby and the 15-year-old gelding Zandigo (Zento x Concreto) who clocked the winning time in Saturday's CSI4* 1.50m Lotto-Hessen Prize in the historical Schlosspark.

With a time of 65.15 seconds, in this Table A class against the clock – which counted for the Longines Rankings Group D – 0.11 seconds separated Elzoghby from runners-up Luke Dee (NZL) and the 9-year-old Gangster WW (Grand Slam x Kannan). Andres Vereecke (BEL) and Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) completed the podium with a time of 66.56 seconds. Nicola Pohl (GER) was best for the host nation riding Arlo de Blondel (Tlaloc M x Kassidi) to fourth with a time of 66.99 seconds, followed by Shane Breen (IRL) and Cato Boy (Commissario x Böckmann’s Lord Pezi) in fifth in 67.25 seconds.
