Kendra Claricia Brinkop and A la Carte NRW (Abke x Lux) brought a home win to the table in Saturday's DKB-Riders Tour Grand Prix qualifier in Münster.
The CSI4* 1.50 class with a jump-off served as a qualifier for Sunday's DKB-Riders Tour Grand Prix, and 14 of the 43 riders in the class managed to produce clears in the first round to move on to battle it out against the clock.
Seven of those repeated their clean sheets in the jump-off, but fastest of all was Kendra Claricia Brinkop and her 9-year-old stallion stopping the clock at 34.91 seconds. Another German rider followed in runner-up position: Jens Baackmann on Carmen 255 (Cornet Obolensky x Contender) who had a time of 35.65. Third place went to Sweden's in-form Peder Fredricson on H&M Christian K (Namelus R x Calvados), while Netherland's Marc Houtzager finished fourth and Germany's Felix Hassmann fifth.
