This weekend’s first CSI3* 1.45m world ranking class at the Autumn Tour in Vejer de la Frontera was hotly contested with 117 riders taking part, and best of all was Great Britain’s Laura Renwick who took the top spot. Renwick is known as one of the fastest riders in the world and skilfully rode Dublin V (Vigaro x Calvados/Sable Rose) around the course to stop the clock in a very fast time of 58.05sec.
Almost a second behind was the talented Irish rider Michael Pender with HHS Burnchurch (Heritage Fortunus x Cavalier Royale), taking the runner-up position ahead of Marc Dilasser (FRA) with Vital Chance de la Roque (Diamant de Semilly x Rivage du Poncel) in third. Fourth place went to Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) with Glamour Girl (VDL Zirocco Blue x Caletto I) and Olivier Robert (FRA) took fifth with Vivaldi des Meneaux (Chippendale Z x Bamako).
