Fresh from her Longines Grand Prix victory in La Coruna last weekend, Lisa Nooren continued her winning streak to take the Championat of Frankfurt on Friday evening. Nooren, only 18-years-old, has been on great form lately, and was also third in the CSI3* Grand Prix in Maastricht in November.
Last night she did not ride her top horse VDL Groep Sabech d'Ha though, but the 8-year-old VDL Groep Centora de Wallyro (Dobel's Cento x Aledo). And it was a comfortable win for the talented Dutch rider, who had a second down to runner-up Nisse Lüneburg on Cadensky (Cornet Obolensky x Carthago) in the jump-off. Swiss rider Clarissa Crotta followed in third on Conte-Bellini (Cornet Obolensky x Ramiro Z) with the last double clear of the class and a jump-off more that was four seconds slower than Nooren's.
Fastest off all was home rider Jörg Oppermann, but on the expense of one rail down which put the German rider fourth.
