Lisa Nooren (NED) and the 10-year-old gelding Dienellie (Berlin x Lupicor) took another big win on Sunday, when topping the 37,800 Euro Grand Prix at the CSI3* event in Offenburg, Germany.
A total of 46 horse-and-rider combination were lined up for the challenge set by the German course designer Peter Schumacher. Ten pairs cleared the first round of the competition, that counted 13 obstacles and 16 efforts, the fences being set at the height of 1.55m.
Nooren clocked the fastest time of 42,35 seconds in the jump-off, to take the victory coming straight from her Saturday win at Jumping Amsterdam last weekend. Philip Rüping (GER) on the 11-year-old mare Clinta (Clinton x Lord Pezi) had to settle for the runner-up position with the time of 42,97 seconds. Martin Dinesen Neergaard (DEN) on the 10-year-old gelding Cannary (Caretino x Lavall) placed third after stopping the clocks on 47,68, and Andreas Kreuzer (GER) on the 11-year-old gelding Calvilot (Calvaro x Quilot) took the fourth place with a time of 43,27 seconds. The fifth spot went to Jos Verlooy (BEL) on the 9-year-old gelding Japatero VDM (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x For Pleasure), after the pair saw a pole fall in a time of 43,96 seconds.
