Great Britain’s Matthew Sampson and the 13-year-old gelding Latte Macchiato (Pacino x Boherdeal Clover) won Saturday’s CSI4* 1.45m presented by Land Rover at the 2026-edition of Cabourg Classic.
With a time of 35.05 seconds in a jump-off of 18, Samson and Latte Macchiato took the top honours ahead of Rik Hemeryck (BEL) and Navarro van het Eelshof (Jappelloup vh Dauwhof x Poleander) in second in 35.38, while Trevor Breen (IRL) with Konrad Obolensky (Cornet Obolensky x Stakkato) completed the top three in 36.16. Kevin Staut (FRA) aboard Exquis RB (Siwing de Triaval x Quamkase des Forets) finished fourth with a time of 36.37, followed by Millie Allen (GBR) and Criquet de L’Isle (Tibet Tame x Grain de Soleil) in fifth in 36.42.
On Friday, Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Le Coultre de Muze (Presley Boy x Vigo d’Arsouilles) won the CSI4* 1.50m Prix Demeures de Campagne. Stopping the clock on 33.05 in a jump-off between 16 horse-and-rider combinations, the current world number 12 took the win ahead of Gudrun Patteet (BEL) and Sea Coast Chica V.V. Z (Comme Il Faut x Chacco-Blue) in second and Anthony Wellens (BEL) on Quelle Force van Sappenleen (Kannan x Numero Uno) in third.
