It was Dutch domination in Saturday’s CSI4* Nijwa Trophy – a 1,50m qualifier for the Grand Prix – in Ommen, as the home riders took care of the first six places. The winner was Michael Greeve (NED) who stopped the clock at 66,09 seconds riding Big Star Jr KZ (Big Star x Polydor). Sanne Thijssen (NED) with Expert (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Mermus R) ended the course in 67,29 seconds and took the runner-up position, while Ben Schröder (NED) with his 69,00 seconds ended third riding Coup de Foudre V (Vittorio x Voltaire).
Pim Mulder (NED) with Djoost Again (Cantos x Joost) ended fourth ahead of Piet Raijmakers Jr (NED) with Van Schijndel’s Amberlina (Tangelo van Zuuthoeve x Numero Uno) and Wout-Jan van der Schans (NED) with D’Angelo (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Sam R).
Later in the evening Lisa Nooren (NED) won the 1,45m class riding Hocus Pocus de Muze (Tinka’s Boy x For Pleasure). Stephanie Holmén (SWE) with H&M Zaloubet (Maloubet de Pleville x Robin Z) ended second ahead of Jamie Gornall (GBR) with Carsten (Cassini II x Quinar Z), Holger Hetzel (GER) with Kyara van het Netehof (Emerald van’t Ruytershof x Codex) and Keith Shore (GBR) with Iron Lady van T Meulenhof (Parco x Quidam de Revel).
