At CSI4* 4Foulee in Poznan, Poland, Olivier Robert (FRA) and Careca LS Elite (Carusso LS La Silla x Rebozo La Silla) took the top honours in Friday's 1.50m Big Tour. With a time of 47.38, Robert was the fastest in a jump-off between eight horse-and-rider-combinations, taking the win ahead of Alexander Butler (IRL) and Ti Amo B Z (Tolan R x Chellano Z) in second in 47.56.
“I think the course was tough enough, I really love this course designer and I think he did a super job," Robert said in a press release from 4Foulee. "The jump-off was perfect for my horse today. The ground here is fantastic – we are not always happy like that on grass, but here it’s great! My plan was to go outside of the trees, I thought I would lose two seconds there, but in the end, I won, so I’m really happy. I’ve been riding Careca since last year, he’s a really good friend of mine, a special horse. We are really happy with him and I think the future looks bright!”
Michal Tyszko (POL) and Colinero (Cola 10 x Escudo 19) placed third in 48.62, while Michal Kazmierczak (POL) and Notis (Clear To Jump St Gyvan Z x Contender Son) finished fourth in 48.69 and Roberto Turchetto (ITA) fifth in 50.08 aboard Ero Del Pierire (Cero x Landino).
